GLOW UP 2020

EVER EXPERIENCING

This year has been challenging in more ways than one or even two for most but I’m not exempt, it’s been difficult for me too.

I experienced COVID-19 from so many different angles including but not limited to the loss of some dear and influential in my wellness journey, experienced loved ones that were frighteningly ill, the fear and anxiety birthed out of the uncertainty the pandemic brought, I personally battled sickness and all while doing my best to support my husband through cancer treatment, working effortlessly to maintain a healthy household and to keep my children informed, encouraged and hopeful, believing that all will be well.

EVER LEARNING

I used every single coping skill I had and even adopted a few new ones, to help me work through 2020’s life stressors. I have used all of my experiences to help me grow and this one is no different.

But in addition to the challenges, this year has also stretched me BEYOND ME and afforded me countless opportunities that have affirmed me, my passion for his work, confirmed the favor of God on my life and motivated me to push past fear, anxiety, uncertainty and sickness even, using the tools I promote in my workshops, my sessions, my classroom and anywhere else and mandating me to make certain I am the first partaker. I use my own medicine!

2020

I mark this year in my book as a GLOW UP.

With growth comes some tears, bumps, bruises, sweat and maybe even a little blood. The bright side of it all for me at least, is an improved version of me and an increased ability to better help someone else work toward their better.
